I took this quick video yesterday, after moving the animals onto new pasture. This grass hasn't had an aniaml touch it in 6 years and it looks drop dead gorgeous. August is about to hit us, and this grass is revving up to feed the hoofstock. I love grass farming; it's easy as pie and instead of listening to the roar of engines and mechanical stuff, you listen to birds chirping, the creek laughing, and animals capturing all that sun and turning it into food. Awesome. :)
P.S. You'll notice that Peaches got a new fly mask! She and Mattie are twinkies now! LOL.

Lovely! The sound of all that munching! And trust goats to be let loose in a new paddock and immediately want what's over the fence :).
LOL! I know! Those stinkers didn't want the tall, green grass; they wanted the trees on the other side! The fence isn't quite finished yet, as there is currently no electricity on the fence. Fingers crossed that the animals don't figure that out!!
Wow, that was so RELAXING! Kind of like when I turn my hens out and they all start munching the grass (when the neighbors are not blastig their stereo), working their way quietly across the yard... Peaches has really filled out! Good job!
Oh, gosh, I have forgotten that pastures can look like that! We have only crunchy dry stuff left here... thanks!
How delightful and de-stressing! I had forgotten how nice it is to hear the slight ripping and juicy grinding noises. Beautiful Queen Anne's Lace!
